Zapmicro ZMX-100 FXO (Foreign Exchange Office) module is a telephone interface which allows the ZMA400P card to terminate analog POTS (Plain old telephone service). The modular design enables a user to activate additional ports at any time with more FXS or FXO daughter cards. The FXO interfaces allow you to connect your PBX to real analog phone lines and receive the ringing voltage from the FXS interface. In short, The ZMX-100 FXO module passes all the call features any standard analog telephone line will support.

Zapmicro ZXS-100 FXS (Foreign Exchange Station) is a telephone interface which provides battery power, sends dial tone and generates ringing voltage. A standard telephone plugs in to such an interface to receive telephone service. The FXS interface initiates and sends a ringing voltage to the FXO interface. FXS modules are not designed to connect to POTS lines. The modular design enables a user to activate additional ports at any time with more FXS or FXO daughter cards. The ZMS-100 FXS module passes all the call features any standard analog telephone line will support.
